How do I open an account?
There are several convenient ways to open an account:

Does Applied Bank require a minimum deposit to open an account?
Yes, but not all accounts have this requirement. Please refer to our Product Listing.

Is there a fee to open my account?
No. There are no fees associated with opening an account.

Are Applied Bank deposit accounts FDIC insured?
Yes. All Applied Bank deposit products are FDIC insured.

How does Applied Bank calculate interest on my account?
Applied Bank accounts are compounded and credited monthly.

Will Applied Bank provide me with checks or deposit slips to use with my Checking Account?
Yes. Once the checking account is open, you will receive an initial check package consisting of checks, deposit slips and a checkbook cover, free of charge. A nominal fee may apply for additional check orders.

When will I receive my Applied Bank Account check package?
Your checks will be ordered after your New Account Form and opening deposit are processed. You should receive your check package approximately 7 to 10 days after your account is opened.

Once funds are deposited into my Account, how do I access my funds?
You can access your funds by utilizing the checks that are provided with the account or you can come into our Branch to make a withdrawal. Also, you will be provided a Visa® Check Card that can be utilized for cash withdrawals at thousands of ATMs nationwide. Remember, we don’t charge any fees on ATM transactions.

Is there a fee for making deposits to my account?
No. There are no fees associated with making deposits.

Can deposits be made at any time?
Yes. You can make deposits in our branch during operating hours or at our ATM 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Additionally, you can mail deposits to:

Who do I call if I have questions regarding opening an Applied Bank Account or have questions about any of my Accounts?

Are there service fees associated with my account?
We have a portfolio of products to meet your financial needs including products with no servicing fees. Please refer to the Deposit Product Rules and Regulations for full fee disclosures.

How can I receive account statements?
Depending on the product you choose, statements may be mailed to you and available online. However, for all products, there are three ways you can review your balance and activity: through our website and automated phone system, both available 24 hours a day or through one of our friendly representatives.

Instead of receiving a monthly interest check from my Certificate of Deposit Account, can I have the funds deposited directly into a DDA or Money Market Account (MMA)?
Yes. You can have your monthly interest deposited directly into any Applied Checking or Savings Account.

Can I roll my funds into a Money Market Account or interest bearing checking account when my Certificate of Deposit matures?
Yes.
